2025/26 Rostering Policy
Rostering Procedure
Players are rostered by practice zones. Upon registration, a preferred practice zone is selected
and a secondary practice zone. Players will be rostered to a team practicing in that practice
zone.
Practice zones are:

SPECIAL REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED, EXCEPT UNDER THE FOLLOWING
CONDITIONS:
A parent coaching a team will have their child placed on the team coached or sponsored unless
otherwise requested during registration, or if they are in a different age division.
Brothers or sisters in the same division will be placed on the same team unless otherwise
requested during registration, but only if the same parent email is used for registration.
A coach may request one parent to be an assistant. The assistant coach must request to be
placed with the head coach prior to the player registration deadline. The assistant coach will
have their child placed on the team coached unless otherwise requested during registration, or if
they are in a different age division.
A request not to be placed with a specific coach will be honored. The player will be rostered to
an alternative team based on need with no guarantee to practice location.
During registration, one request to accommodate carpooling will be accepted. The request
must be mutual with the requested player to be honored, and both players must select
the same practice zone preference.
Cecil FC reserves the right to allocate coaches to practice locations as needed. We can not
guarantee specific practice location to coaches. If the assigned practice location is unsuitable to
the coach, an alternate coach for the team will be assigned.
