The Recreational Program is geared toward providing a fun, competitive soccer environment for kids. All kids are welcome, and CFC strives to make it a positive experience for the players and their families.

Registration Prices and Dates

U3 – High School

• Registration opens: February 2, 2026
• Registration closes: March 15, 2026
• Early Bird Price (Feb 2 – Feb 15): $99.00
• Regular Price (Feb 16 – March 7): $109.00
• Late Registration Price (March 8 – March 15): $124.00

Coaching

All coaches are volunteers and are often a parent of a player within the program. CSL asks that you consider fulfilling this need as a rewarding opportunity to support the community and have some fun! There are a few online courses you will need to complete in order to coach as per the guidelines of CSL. You will receive a coach’s information packet that will go into all the specifics near the end of the registration.

Head Coaches will receive a 100% reimbursement for your child’s registration! This will only extend to one child per coach. The reimbursement will be applied once the season concludes.

Each coach must do the following:

1. Complete a TeamSnap registration form (below)
2. Complete a GotSport registration form (received in your TeamSnap confirmation email)
3. Complete your coaching requirements in GotSport
   1. Background Check
   2. Concussion Course (CDC)
   3. SafeSport Training

*Coaching requirements are valid for one year (restarts every year on July 1st)

Practices

U3/U4 and U5/U6 will have NO weekly practices. Only weekend games.

U7/U8+ will have weekly practices. U10 and above may have 2 weekly practices depending on what your coach decides. Attending both practices is NOT required in this case.

Game Schedule

All matches will take place at the Chelsand Sports Complex. The season will consist of 8 games played over 7 weeks, with each team scheduled for one double-header fixture.

• Rain Date – June 6

Uniforms

New Jerseys or Spirit Wear can be purchased by going to Soccer.com or onsite at Chesland at the beginning of the season.

U3/U4-U5/U6 players will be provided with team tee shirts for the season.

U7/U8+ players will use separate Adidas Red and White jerseys.

Black shorts and socks are highly recommended but not required. Shin guards are required in order to play.

*IMPORTANT Do not wait until the last week to order your uniforms! Expect at the very least a 2-week turnaround time. Plan your order to arrive before the first game.

• U13/U14 Division – Birth Years 2012, 2013, 2014
• High School Division – Birth Years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011

While we intend to offer separate boys’ and girls’ divisions, we may consolidate entries into a co-ed division if required.
